I was in my bed, sleeping me and my husband and the storm came. The storm got heavier I got out of bed looked out of the window and a tornado was very close so close. I had no time to even react me and my dog ran into the bathroom close, the door squatted on the ground my husband still in the bedroom still in the bed while I was in the bathroom I could hear the tornado rip through the house the sound of the strong wind trees and branches falling as so I was listening to the strong wind water began to fill up on the bathroom floor , I got a little afraid because I can’t swim. The water reached my ankles and I decided that me and the dog would go to higher ground upstairs so we ran upstairs into an upstairs room. The wind of the tornado was still blowing as we were upstairs, but there was no flood or no water , all of a sudden the wind and storm calmed down. I looked over to another section of the house and the roof is torn, but no one was harmed. No one died.
This dream could indicate a sense of vulnerability and fear in your waking life. The storm and tornado represent a turbulent and chaotic situation that is beyond your control. The fact that you and your dog seek refuge in the bathroom suggests your instinct to find safety and protection during times of crisis.
Your husband's presence in the dream, remaining in bed while you take action, may symbolize a need for support and solidarity in difficult situations. However, it could also suggest that there may be differences in how you both handle and react to challenges.
The rising water level in the bathroom may symbolize your mounting emotions and the feeling of being overwhelmed. The fear of not being able to swim reflects your concerns about being equipped to handle overwhelming circumstances.
Moving to higher ground upstairs represents your attempt to find a safer and more secure position amidst the chaos. The fact that there is no flood or water upstairs indicates a temporary relief from the emotional turmoil you were experiencing.
The torn roof of another section of the house could symbolize some damage or disruption caused by the storm, but the fact that no one was harmed or died suggests that you have the resilience and ability to overcome obstacles without experiencing significant losses.
